Mourice Kausya is a Research Assistant in the Nuvoni Centre for Innovation Research (NCIR), which hosts the International Centre for Frugal Innovation (ICFI)-Kenya Hub. His research interests are primarily in energy access, focusing on mini-grids, agriculture and education among others. Mourice is currently working on the “Sustainability, Inclusivity and Governance of Mini grids in Africa (SIGMA)” project.

Mourice holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi and has previously worked as a Junior Research Associate at Lotus Consulting Limited and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Research on Economic Development (IRED).
