Diana Mwau is an urban development researcher and practitioner with over four years of experience across participatory governance, spatial planning, infrastructure development, communications, and knowledge management in East Africa. At Nuvoni, she contributes to research on urban climate resilience, digital inclusion, and circular waste management, while supporting communications and knowledge management to translate research into policy and practice.
She is currently completing an MA in Sustainable Urban Practice at UCT’s African Centre for Cities and holds a BA in Planning from the University of Nairobi, alongside certification in the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework. Her strengths include research and analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, project coordination, policy analysis, knowledge management, strategic communication, systems thinking, and translating evidence into practical development solutions. Her work focuses on strengthening inclusive, accountable, and resilient urban development.
